The Hauraki Maori Trust Board offer Marae Development Grants to fund capital work costs for the conservation, restoration and development of marae facilities, particularly wharenui, wharekaiand wharepakufacilities.
Funding is also available from Lottery Marae Heritage & Facilities Grant, Department of Internal Affairs, as well as Trust Waikato who invest in resilient and vibrant communities in our region.
We invite you to an informative presentation to update you on the funding application process.
There will also be information on the Marae Food Safety Guide and the new regulations under the Food Act 2014 that come into effect 1 March 2016.
