A meeting of the members of Ngaati Karaua is to be held to consider the establishment of a whenua topu or ahu whenua trust for Tataweka and Wekarua Islands. The meeting is to held as follows

Registration.  All members of Ngaati Karaua to register their names and addresses on arrival and prior to the start of the meeting at 10.00am.

Agenda

1. Mihimihi and Karakia.
2. Explanation of purpose of meeting.
3. Consider the establishment of whenua topu or ahu whenua trust and appointment of trustees for Tataweka and Wekarua Islands.

Another meeting will be held on Sunday 28 July 2013 at the Thames War Memorial Civic Centre corner of Mary and Queen Streets, Thames to make final decisions on the ownership and management of these islands.
